MOQ, Mixed Orders and First Trial Orders for Vape Pod Wholesale

Minimum order quantities are where most first conversations between a distributor and a supplier go vague, usually because nobody has said what the minimum is actually attached to. Here is how it works on RELX-compatible pods, and how to build an order you can live with.

What the MOQ covers

Standard RELX-compatible pods start at 100 packs per flavor. OEM and private-label orders start at 1,000 packs per design. Mixed-container and first-trial orders are negotiable — tell us the models and volumes you are targeting and we will price the order as one piece rather than a set of separate minimums.

The reason the number sits on the flavor and not the line is production: the constraint is the flavor run, not the carton. A line you want in three flavors carries three minimums, not one. This is the single most common misunderstanding in wholesale pod quoting, and it is why a five-line order is not automatically a small order.

Building a first trial order

1. Anchor on proven SKUs. The 0.4 and 0.5 specs sit on the largest installed base and fund the rest of the test.
2. Add one step-up line. A 0.6 or 0.7 gives your shelf a middle rung instead of a cliff.
3. Test one high-capacity line where local rules allow it — 2.5 or 3.0 — in one or two flavors only.
4. Weight the flavors. Mostly best-sellers from the live availability list, with a couple of local tastes you believe in.
5. Leave room to reorder. The SKU that moves fastest is the one you cannot afford to run out of while the next batch is being packed.

Worked example: five lines with two flavors each is ten minimums, or 1,000 packs. Standard orders dispatch in 5–7 working days, so a trial order placed on a Monday is typically on its way the following week.

Samples

We offer a paid sample kit covering the eight best-selling flavors, and the cost is deducted from your first order; express shipping is on the buyer. Samples exist to settle flavor direction and pack quality before you commit a minimum, which is a much cheaper mistake than discovering either at container scale.

Payment terms, and how they loosen

• Standard orders: T/T bank transfer, PayPal or Alibaba Trade Assurance.
• OEM orders: 30% deposit, balance before dispatch.
• Established partners: credit terms become available after three or more successful orders.

Terms are published in the wholesale FAQ because they are the same for every buyer at a given stage; nobody at AISILE is improvising a better deal for whoever asks loudest.

OEM minimums are a different number

Private label starts at 1,000 packs per design with a 45-day turnaround from approved artwork, and we provide free design mockups before production. Where MOQ conversations go wrong

• A per-line minimum is quoted when the real constraint is per flavor.
• Trial volume is committed to a capacity the market cannot reorder within the same window.
• The sample kit is skipped, and flavor direction gets decided by a container.
• Freight is priced after packing rather than with the quote, so the landed number moves late.
